Denim on Denim

Pairing double denim can be fantastic if the pieces are well structured and fit you perfectly. These work for both men and women. 


Trying to pair denim-on-denim is tricky, but it can be done as long as you remember not to go out of proportion--like wearing loose shirt denim on top of baggy denim trousers or pairing the same fabric weight and wash colored denim with busy accessories--that would be no! no!! no!!! Remember Justin and Britney’s red carpet disaster at the 2001 American Music Awards? Please, no one wants to repeat that mess.


You can wear denim in all different colors as long as they go together, but it is better you contrast your top and bottom with different washes and shades of denim to have quite a strong and dominant vibe. 


I paired my double denim with these beautiful black lace up pump heels and black and white bag to give me that chic and glam look. What do you think about my combo?
